Lower Coolant Pipe
The other day, water came pouring out of my truck. I thought it was just a lower hose. When I went to replace it, I saw it was the metal pipe that segments the lower rad hose. It's busted and needs to be replaced. I guess 20 years and 350K miles has taken it's toll.
Is there a source on this part, or do I have to look at making one?

You can completey replace it with a universal radiator hose. I did it to mine. I used one that is 23" long with a 90 degree bend on the end. Was about 15 bucks for the hose are a local parts store.

During reassembly after doing headgasket I couldnt get the coolant pipe to seal as there was no new gaskets for it in kit "none avail". I tightened as much as I could then after truck was running and warm I gave another half turn for each bolt and no leaks..
