Low rough idle after long drive

Low rough idle after long drive
hello again guys.
new irk of the week to fix:
I have a fuel-injected 22RE pickup. When I start it, it'll idle a little high, but once its at operating temperature , it idles just great in the 8-900 rpms range.
After coming to a stop at the end of an off ramp on a highway drive, or just a long drive in general, the engine will be idling low- around 450 to 500 rpms and requires a little messing with the gas pedal to keep the truck from shuddering.
The next time i start it back up, its back to a healthy idle and drives as good as ever.
Its not a real problem, but its rather annoying. Anyone else encountered this tendency and solved it? What could it be?
(Ive replaced vacuum hoses, cleaned the throttle body, adjusted the mixture screw, adjusted the throttle cable tension and even threw a bottle of lucas fuel treatment in with a full tank of 89)

I just had mine do this, but mine's a V6. It did it for a few days and then all of a sudden the truck died and the battery voltage dropped from normal down to 6 volts and then slowly to zero volts. Turns out the battery was internally shorted out and was killing itself and the wacky voltage was making the ECU go nuts. Funny though, it was running good other than the low idle.
New battery and it's back to normal.

My truck battery was dead when I tried to start it last night. Its a three year old crappy wal mart battery, so ill try putting a quality product in there and see if a new battery helps out.
