low fuel milage 94 22re
hey all, recently i have been getting poor fuel milage on my 94 22re short cab short bed 4x4. i used to get around 20-24mpg and now im getting a pretty steady 15-16mpg. i recently replaced and calibrated my tps, checked my entire vacume system and replaced all the lines. it has a lc engennering throttle body and header. o2 sensor is new. all of these were done after the drop in fuel milage. (relavant?) also, engine is new, not rebuilt, about 4000 miles ago. any ideas? thanks

Sorry, but I don't have the depth of knowledge to have a tech fix for your issue, but FYI:
15-16 mpg in mixed/city driving is normal for these engines/trucks; you were lucky to get more. I've gotten 19 mpg blasting at 75mph on the interstate, 21mpg in slower highway driving. If I really "old lady" it, I could probably get 23-24mpg highway.

I was down a few mpg's until I replaced my cap and rotor earlier this summer now I get 20 around town and a little more on the highway. I kept complaining about my gas mileage and a buddy suggested the cap and rotor and I didn't think they would have that much of an effect but they were good for about 2 mpg's.
