Lost my Chiltons-what grease for u-joints?
What a lovely day! It was +25F!! It felt sooo warm after the -30F we had for a few days. I went for a nice long drive through town and picked up some stuff for an oil change...but....
....I seem to have misplaced my Chiltons manual So, I shall ask the YotaTechers What kind of grease should I use for the u-joints, yokes, and balljoints on my '93? I've always had shops do the greasing because I never got around to buying a grease gun. Now I have one though. I searched but only found results for 3rd gens. Thanks!

Whatever the 3rd gens use. I use whatever's cheapest. I'm using some Mobile non-synthetic chassis grease. I don't care that it is not water proof long lasting, because i don't mind re greasing the drivetrain often.

Okay! Great, thanks! The grease gun I bought came with "Lithium Multipurpose Grease"...should I just chuck that? Or would that possibly work? Any good brand I should look out for?
