Longtime Drivetrain noise fixed-Thanks Zuk!

I have the same vibration issues on my '94 4Runner 2WD. Since I obviously don't have a transfer case, I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what I may look for.
To be more specific, my vibration is only noticeable at 55 mph. It is pretty loud up till about 70 and then it seems to quiet down. As I'm typing this, I'm thinking the solution is just to drive it 90 mph!
Fyi, I dropped my drive shaft from the rear and there is a staked nut where the drive shaft connects to the differential.
Could that be loose and need tightening?
Thanks for any help anyone can offer!
