well not exactly the truck didnt come with a hood well i think ill be doing away with the carb and going to efi
i think i have everything i need to do that
i have an efi intake exaust manifold fuel tank
entire wire harness from front to back
btw its out of a 4runner
turnin truck into 4runner do you know if i can use the carb fuel lines

If you're going to EFI, you'll need the entire top end. Plus, sensors, ECU, relays, fuses and panels, and I believe even fuel pump. Not sure on that, but I believe the wiring is different.
On the '90....
You can temporarily plug the EGR vacuum line with a BB or something similar to see if that changes things. Otherwise, test the engine coolant sensor on the front of the motor.
