I am pretty jealous of your beast actually... Less the rims, your truck is almost exactly how I envisioned my 2nd gen would have looked had I finished it haha. I <3 black vehicles. I swear every new car I buy from here on out will black

Holy crap, 2 15s? Overkill? haha.

A motorcycle cop around me is known for pulling trucks over with loud musid. Its easy to lose him on gravel roads that have 90* turns tho.

Hope that ticket doest cost you alot of $$$

Pfft. It's not big enough yet. 500rms on 2 15s. Hits SO hard your vision goes more blurry than your mirrors. I still need to make a bigger box for them because they are muffled in that little 3 cube box. Then I'm going for a 2 farad cap and new battery terminals with 0 gauge on the battery. Hopefully that helps.

Dude it rides so weird. The ass end goes in circles up and down and sideways. I think shocks and the panhard drop will help alot. And I'm gonna poke around in the front end I think some of the bushings (maybe a-arm) are screwed, ya know how it knocks when it flexes a bit while turning? I think its because of the bushings or something being loose up there.

a drop bracket will probably really help with that shifting in the rear.
thats wierd... the front end was knocking back before i did the cv shafts, but after it was buttery smooth. is it knocking on just one side?

I dont know. I havent had time to look through it. I'm not too worried about it because I had another truck like this and it made that noise for years without a problem. I think the guy I sold it to figured it out though, I might go ask him about it. I think I'm gonna pull the 3rd next and fix that leak.

I found another leak, the driveshaft is throwing oil but I dont know where it is coming from. And the drivers side CV has alot of fluid on it but I'm hoping its just PS fluid.

And to whoever edited the thread. What was that for??? I liked that part of the thread.

yeah, the ds was throwing grease... i just made sure it wasnt dry. as for the cv, it had better be ps fluid, because i put in those shafts like 2 weeks before you bought it.

So your saying the grease is coming from the DS joint? And you kept greasing it so it wouldnt dry up?

Went to Prarie City today. Pretty boring but its the closest thing to home.

The best part is the man made steps. Rock and logs and stuff. Its steeper than it looks.

My buddy going up in his Dodge 1500

Then me. It is obvious that I am geared lower. Makes a big difference.

Damn video makes me look like I'm 15.

About 3000 miles since the rebuild. About time for an oil change. Water level stays FULL. Still runs like a champ. But when you are outside listening to it run it sounds pretty bad. lol. Runs fine though.
