Since it is a 2wd, I'm not looking to lift it anymore. I will be happy with Armor to make it durable and maybe a locker in the future. Keep it Simple

Very nice truck, I'm definitely wanting to do a 3" lift and some bigger tires when my current tires wear out a bit more. I really liking your truck and also yakamoto1988's truck

Gen II kit info can be found at the total chaos website.
Though, the kit is usually worth more than the truck itself, lol.

ditto. search for blazeland, he makes an affordable long travel kit for 4x4. not 100% sure he's still making them...but a little searching and i'm sure you'll be able to find out.

I appreciate all the praise and help. Painting the frame sounds like a good cheap idea. Is there a specific black paint I should use for best protection? While I'm at it should my rear axle and diff get some loving too?

Sounds like a good cheap insurance for the frame. Cheap too! spray paint isn't that expensive.

I still need to find the time to relocate my shifter base plate so my even gears stay in place. Also need to trim for front fenders on the backside. I don't think I'll have to do any pinch weld banging.

POR15 for rust preventative, THEN coat over it with spraypaint.
The POR15 is UV sensitive so it has to be coated.
