Leaf spring bolt sizes?
I am replacing the leaf spring bushings on my 86 4Runner. I bought the energy suspension poly bushings for stock leafs. I want to make sure I have the right size bolts to put in after I cut the old seized ones out. My searches came up with several different sizes. Anyone know for sure?

i believe the stock diameter is 18mm. sometimes you'll find a smaller bolt with a sleeve. you can get them anywhere they sell large metric hardware - like ACE or Grainger for example. try to get grade 8 or 10 for strength. you can also order them online individually or as a shackle kit from a plethora of retailers. concerned with dealer prices - call them and ask.
also, if you got new bushings, make sure they're 18mm bore not 3/4"(19mm-ish) or you will likely have to up size to 3/4" and drill the bushing

Toyota for the special hardware I have found to be really reasonable .
I just hate when I work on a Toyota with all different cobbled hardware
If I look maybe I can find the new bolts I have and measure.
