Just spent 117 bucks on the 4Runner

However, best money I've spent on it so far......89 Runner with the 4 cylinder and manual tranny.

3 service manuals from the Toyota dealer. Hundreds and hundreds of pages!!

Now, maybe even I can figure out a few things with the truck!!

Somewhat better than the Haynes manual I had picked up earlier.......more expensive by far, but money well spent.

The FSM's are nice, and are a necessity in my opinion.

If you don't want to pay that much, and you don't mind having the electronic version, you can download PDF versions of the manuals on Toyota's Techinical Information System website. It does cost, but they have varying levels of membership.

For a 1 day membership, I believe it was $10.. and you actually end up getting a little more than a day out of it. At any rate, it was plenty of time for me to get on and grab everything relating to my 4 runner. I used a trial version of Acrobat to assemble everything into one nice, informational PDF file. It's nice to be able to use the search feature to find what you are looking for

Here is the URL for those who have never been to the site:

...or you can check out Ebay. They pop up on there from time to time.

I'm also interested in those who cover not only the engines but also how to unmount things of the interior and so. Do you've that?

Thanks hehehe,

I needed the interior because I'm installing a computer (carputer) in my truck. Tomorrow I'll have the touchscreen and when I install it I'll post pics of all the 4Puter project hehehe

You know, they don't give you many details on what's available until you buy the membership.... it's bull$$$$ if you ask me. I can tell you that I downloaded everything they had for the 94, and I didn't see anything for the 3.0 Turbo Diesel unfortunately.
