my uncle owns his own shop and he put the motor back together. so i asked him, he says the valves r adjusted correctly, also we used the light for setting the timing as well.we did a compression check around 165 i think he said on all 4. the exhaust leak is right before the muffler in the weld. he cant look at it for a few weeks. it runs really good and has power also when u give it gas the shack in the video stops and it smoothes out? i mean besides the shack u would have no idea something is wrong with the truck

Woww, Umm whats the idle sitting at...?
ummm...Id say motor mounts also...
How long has it been since the job was done?
Have you had the head re-torqued ?

the head has not been retorqued, and the idle was set by listening to the motor, no tach. cars been running for about 4 weeks now. the shack gets worse if i lower the idle and it smoothes out when the gas is applied or idleis higher

You can set the rpms with a good multimeter. Don't ask me how though because its been a while since I did mine, and I've had a few beers!
