LOL I know the feeling. When I met my wife I took her for a little spirited drive in the woods, when I came up to a little stream (no joke) 15-20 foot wide at the max. I got hung up on the difs......I got stuck in the tracks of some big dog with 44's. The Army surplus shovel sure came in handy.

And the Army surplus sleeping bag! Thats why they call the back of a truck the 'BED'

:| never had to cross a river yet. After getting pulled out i headed home or atleast i thought i got maybe 10 miles down the road and my truck started overheating!!! i thought i ripped the radiator hoses out or something because my front skid plate turned into a shovel one time i got stuck. But that wasnt it my radiator had been caked with mud atleast a mm thick :| Had to hop home stopping every 10 miles or so.. took from 8pm to 1:30am when i pulled in the driveway

MUDN4R - Lemme know when you are going to be in Lynchburg - I know there are a few of us around here that would come out and have some fun. I should have my rims/tires on by next weekend and the wife-to-be is out of town ... so I'm game. You know an exact date when you are going to be up that way yet ?

Bryce, I sent them out this past monday. As far as the trails you should check out www.757offroad.net those guys are from your area and should be able to tell you where some of your local trails are.

as far as trails around roanoke/lynchburg... there are several trails, pott's, bobcat, broad run, pevine.
