What are you planning on doing with the front license plate? It looks like too much of an afterthought sitting up on the dash. Maybe a detachable bracket that can be left in place when you need the truck to be legal, but can be removed when you want the truck to look exactly like the original? Unless Marty's truck actually had the license plate on the dashboard, in which case it's great as it is. It's been a while since I've seen the movies.

They actually make a bumper bracket for the license place but I am not too sure if I want to go the route.

There are bolts that keep the lower valance in place and I was thinking of using one of them to mount my license place. However some custom work/MacGuyver thought would have to be involved.

In part 3 I do not think they used a front place. In the garage scene in part 1 & 2 the place was mounted at the bottom in the middle. I don't know exactly how though. Some MacGuyver work would have to be involved

I'd say it would be worth the MacGuyver work to make the truck match the movie. You've got a cool vanity plate that fits the truck perfectly. Might as well show it off from the front and back.

Very nice, old becomes new again. I have to say you did quite a transformation on the old girl, and breathed new life into her again. Something to be proud of for sure!!!

Where did you get your rear bumper from? I've looked everywhere and could not find one.

Craigslist.

It took lots of searching, lots of time and lots of DRIVING to end up with the right one

I reccomend using all of craigs to do a massive search for the bumper in my state (CA) before I found the right one.
