I would like to introduce you to my new 88
I have decided on an 88 4runner with 88k original miles. 5-speed, 22re, swapped in SR5 gauages, new BFGs, 94 alloys, top has NEVER been removed.
Comes with an extra short block, another motor, engine gasket kit, etc. I have enough parts to build another motor.
Barry, bsmi16490, is a great guy and as straight up as they come. Can't wait to get it in my posession on Tuesday or Wednesday.
imageshack is being strange, so no picks now--I can e-mail them if someone wants to host them.
Very excited about the new addition.
The list of new/ replaced parts is rather extensive

Any plans for a SAS?
I will slowly assembly parts. First I need an axle and I will start from there. For now, just my DD.
pics should be up shortly.
I am very excited about the 4rs future.

this one will be done right the first time.
Not going to do anything to the suspensio (aside from new shocks) until I SAS. It just isn't worth it---to me.
I have redone things over and over on the 99.
I have done a ton or reading and have a lot more to learn about setting this one up right.
It will cost some $$$$ to get it the way I want, but so long as I take my time this one should come out lookin' GREAT.
---Brian, I know you love the color!!! I actually like it and whatever.
For an 18 year old rig, this one is CLEAN. Plus I have emough parts to build almost 2 complete motors, and extra w56, gaskets and tranny
As soon as it is in my posession it will be like Christmas
