im suprised somebody hasn't said SAS IT!!!!.lmao hahahahaha

it all depends on what you're wanting to do with your rig dude..if you're just gonna be in the mud and some light to moderate trails..then go with a 4in bracket lift..or a 6in bracket lift..they aren't being produced anymore but they are still floating around for sale...

and a 4in bracket lift and 3in body lift will clear 37's lmao..just go with a used 4in bracket lift..some CHEVY 63" springs in the rear with MAYBE like a 1" block if you need it..some good shocks..regear to 5.29's and throw a locker in the rear while you're in there..and you'll be golden!

if ya dont like that..SAS that dude and throw some 38's on there and wheel the piss out of it ..just kidding guys..im not a SAS EVERYTHING fan

Seems like everyone is kinda making it more complicated then it really is, my dad has a 89 ifs with 35x14.5s on it, it has a 4in suspension, and 2in body mind you he didnt need the body he just added it for a lil extra clearence for flexing. he has NO problems but he had to cut the front shroud a lil. but when lifting you have alot more to consider then just fitting tires in. you have brake lines, your diff in the rear and all that to think about to its really not that complicated in reality just managing time money and having the right tools to do it.

swapping out for longer brake lines is easy, driveshafts are capable of running safely for anything under 4 inches SL,

after looking at my truck closely and reading an indepth right up, i think i might be able to get by with a 3" BL and some grinding, just gatta find some axles with 5.29s and im good to go!

Amazing how many different opinions you get about what you need to run bigger tires, eh?

Want to keep IFS and get bigger tires, you either get a body lift that leaves the frame hanging below the body and an unsightly gap between the two, or you get a suspension lift that everyone slags even though it's the best 'looking' option.
