okay i looked at the lift springs... yeah they do look perfect and easy to change out but would there be any disadvantages to doing a 3" instead of 2"? becuase i would rather have three

I went with the 3's. I don't know this but I think Downey might quote those lift amounts for trucks vs. the 4runners with the roof. I also have a heavy aftermarket rear bumper on mine. They ended up settling to 2" when all is said and done. Here is a link to my install with before and after pics for my 3" springs and another guy with 2".
