I found my coolant, but not the leak.

Thanks guys. I figured red would be best since that's what the system was designed to run on. I guess I'm just more concerned with any problems, if any, that might occur from switching back.?

If you do 3 or 4 distilled water flushes the concentration of green will be very, very low and you will have no problem after switching to the red.

Update
Well ya'll it runs, but I'll be tearing it back down very soon. I think it runs better than it ever has since I've owned it, and it should since it finally got some TLC.
I most definitely could not have done it as easily without YT. Both, folks who commented on this thread and those threads that I lurked. Thanks.
It's not all good though, there's is still years of neglect to fix on this truck. The kicker is that my water pump is leaking. I originally thought it was the cause of the leak and started to disassemble thinking I needed to replace the w/p. When I saw the valley filled with coolant I jumped the gun and dismissed the w/p from having a leak. MISTAKE. I should have known that there could have been more than one leak.
The biggest leak and major problem is fixed but the w/p dribbles a lil bit.
I'll be ordering a timing belt and water pump tomorrow. Most likely using OEM parts.
So the repairs continue!

Oh, I went to the local Pick n' Pull. The biggest one I know of around these parts. I would say easily over a thousand + vehicles. There were NO toyota pickups and only two runners! It says something about the yota but it sucks cause I need parts!
I did score the air filter housing off one of the runners since mine was missing mounting tabs and the runner's was intact.
Funny though, both runners were not as scavenged as I thought they would be, but both were already missing the gears and gauges.

I didn't replace the t-stat, just stuck the old one back in. I will be replacing it with the w/p though. One question. I did use a new t-stat gasket (rubber ring) the FSM did not specify any sealant it just said install t-stat with new gasket. So I didn't use any sealant and it seems like the t-stat cover is dribbling along with the w/p. Should I use a lil sealant on it this time?
I'll make a list of parts I replaced tonight or tomorrow. Right now, gotta leave for work.

I don't think the 3vze likes aftermarket plug wires. Id return those and get OEM's, but it looks like your making good progress otherwise. Good luck and keep us updated.
