How to remove the Timing Belt tensioner pulley from water pump?
Anyone know how you remove the Timing Belt Tensioner pulley from the water pump & install it on a new pump? Does it have to be done with a press? I need to get this done so my crap will stop leaking coolant. Thanks!

But from what I remember, you just remove the bolt.

Usually the pulley comes already attached so I am surprised you would need to pull it off.
Do you have the new pump already? and it didn't come with one?
If not then yes, you would need a press to get it off (careful not to damage the new pump).

It is the tensioner pulley. My water pump looks like THIS
And the Tensioner Pulley arm mounts to the little nub sticking out at the bottom left end of the pump. It's not the pump pulley itself. Sorry to keep confusing everyone. I should've been more clear from the start. Thanks, again for all your help!

Just link us to your public album and we can navigate from there.
Is your setup like this?

Both the #1 tensioner and #2 idler should be bolted on with allens or hex heads.

I'm sorry guys. I don't know why the link's not working. I don't know how you post pics directly on the post like you did earlier, MTL. HERE'S the link. My water pump's not like the one you showed. Again, the pulley I have to remove mounts to the little nub on the lower left end of the pump.

I'm not sure what to tell you... mine looks like this:
and the one posted above. What is that pulley for? All the idler and tensioner pulleys are still the same as the ones shown in the other links, huh? Is there any way you could snap a shot of the pulley and the belt running through them on your truck?

I don't know what to tell you... from our 3VZE setups, it goes a bit something like the links we showed. It should be this pulley:
Which does not mount to the water pump from what I remember.
Sorry we couldn't help more!

That link on the PDF I posted was from the FSM for a 93 3VZ so I am a bit surprised that yours is somehow different.
Like TRunner said, all of the idlers bolt on in some fashion.
We'd need to see a pic of yours to help out if it is different than the FSM.
