277k on the clock. Prolly more like 280k with the 31's. 3VZE
Planning on either a rebuild or dropping in a 3.4L at either 300k or before I go off to college.
Tad bit of body rust, not a speck on the frame though!

I have a 1991 Toyota Pickup 4WD, all manual, none of that "power" stuff. 22RE engine with EFI. I am the original owner. Here is my story...
- At 180,000 bearings in the original transmission started failing, had a rebuilt W56 put in. In 2000, $1,600 (includes labor).
- At 272,000 the original engine gave out, piston rings fried, blew rear and front seals. Decided to have a rebuilt 22RE put in...2004, $2,000 (includes labor).
- At 383,000 (110,000 on the rebuilt engine), engine died, seriously gouged the #4 piston chamber. Had a rebuilt 22RE put in, $3,000 (including labor). Also, the bearings in the transmission started giving out, had a rebuilt W56 put in...$1,800. This is 2014.
Still cheaper than buying a new car.
Still going strong, use it to drive 115 miles round trip to work everyday.
