I like the stripe, but make it thinner, and I believe I would do something along the lines of gunmetal grey for the stripe and rims. as for the wood one the bed, get some red oak and clear coat it!

gonna bump this, I think I settled on black and orange. Not yet sure on the bed rails. Keeping somewhat of a construction theme going.

Not so much replace color, more color overlay then anything and your dead on with the magnetic lasso.
Maybe I shouldn't say how I do it, since I can actually make money doing such things and people can steal my ideas/skill, but I guess I don't really care. It's a public forum meant to share ideas etc etc not keep everything to yourself.

Glad you picked something you like, man.... .Glad you bumped this as well! lol. Although, with 8 of 10 having different opinions, ..... I think it's just entertainment for you, hahahaha. JK, .... I still like 8, but probably cuz I love that old Land Cruiser Color, ya know? I see em all over around here. I think Toyospearo's is that color too, right?(82 Pick up?)

But Black and Orange can look really good as well.... I almost can never separate from Halloween, ...but if it's just the right orange, it can look nice. Heck, I LOVE those 79-83 Toys painted Orange(like pretty much ANY Toy painted black)..... so I'm interested to see what you come up with. Best wishes! When is this gonna happen?

Chef it's gonna be a florescent orange mainly striping the truck. Same color I used for the bumper markings and the LSPV bracket.

I know some people are gonna hate me when I just rattle can this, but it sees alot of trees etc etc, and it's not that pretty to begin with and has a lot of body work to be done in which I am not gonna do for the most part. Besides, it's not like I am restoring the truck haha.

ya know, I've been thinking of registering for a business license for the truck and then applying for the lic to run yellow lights. Register it as a "tow truck or emergency". In PA you can't run gumballs etc etc red, blue, yellow or otherwise without the lic. to do so.

PA's business lic is expensive and somewhat a hassle to get.

Hahaha.... I hear ya.. Well, I still love it, nicks and such or not! lol. Stands nice! Meh, don't worry about it,.... MANY do that, or even do complete rhino-liner paint jobs on fairly clean 2nd gen runners(saw that the other day on here, ...wow).... and I'm sure you'll do a decent job, marking off of things, etc.
