anyone know what the deal is when u can smell fuel in the air on the passenger side of the engine, and it idles like a pig?
cleaned the throttle body, intake, gotten new spark plugs and leads, replaced intake gasket and throttle body gasket.
the radiator seems to lose fluid too....
3vze must die!

the 3.0L is actually picky to exhaust back presure i know on my 3.0 i ran 3 inch pipe off the down pipe to 5 inch stacks and i had low end torque for pulling but wouldnt go down the road with much power at all i dont know what you are running for exhaust size so if its bigger than stock i would put it back to atleast the stock size pipe to try and gain that back presure again ......... i put mine to stock and really had no problem with it again

paul2484 ........ the 3vze is known for the stock head gaskets going bad there was a recall on them you may be leaking the coolant into the engine and the coolant could also pick up the smell of the gas depending on where the coolant loss is i have had that problem before but mine was when the headgasket went bad it also cracked the head i never had much smoke and it really never overheated till it was totally screwed but there is a start for ya
