Hello From A New Guy
My first post on this forum, and my first Toyota.
1988 4-Runner DLX. Bought it the week before last for $1800. Came from the PO with a cold air intake, header and 31x10.5 15's (almost new!).
The wife & I took it out for the first time Sunday with the top off and it went places in 2wd that I had problems with in my 2004 explorer in 4wd!
What a great truck!
I look forward to a lot of great four wheeling with the truck and a lot of great advice by reading what you pros have posted here.
I will try to post pics, but I'm kind of new to this.

Thanks, I'll try that on the next ones.
Seems like the wife & daughters think it's GAWD AWFUL UGLY but all the guys at work think it looks good.
Being as it' going on the trails the next step will be a gallon of white Rustolium thinned with mineral spirits in my spray gun--black trim.

If you get a chance, check out my build thread, maybe it will give you a few ideas.
