head gasket repair
well guess what I did all weekend and the only reason I did this is due to the great knowledge I have gained from the people from this great online community.
THANKS...
well we started on sat morning 9am stopped 4am
started at 1pm today and was done by 5pm and had it running, no leaks any more and only 2 trips to get extra parts oilpan seal and timing cover seals.
it was not that hard with 2 people.
the hardest thing was getting the vac lines back where they belonged.

if it had been my truck then i would have gotten i diff kit than the one he got but this kit did look good.
better than the one the last owner had on it.

ya me too the old head gasket was very cheap compared to the new one.
this buddy of mine also has a turbo out of truck we plan on doing a rebuild on.
and for that one he has all top rebuild parts and seals for that one that will be a later project for this winter.
after this one if I have to do any thing to my truck I plan doing a slow mild heat bake on the TB or getting a old dish washer to wash all the parts before reassembling.
the TB on this truck was gunked up bad.
