Has anyone replace their tail shaft bushing "vibration"?

Good day to one and all, hoping all is in best of health. There are a few question I'd like to ask,
hoping someone can help, Thanks. I am a proud owner of my 91 Toyota truck 2WD that I've had
for 12yrs.For me to still have it and work on it, it must be a real truck 🚚 .. Nothing I have not done to
it including an engine rebuild that I've done myself. Lets begin, I have changed numerous tail shaft
seals from Toyota, due to leakage. One of my question is, which might sound crazy 🤪, does the transmission
tail shaft have a bushing inside? After some research I found a bad bushing can cause continuous
leaking, damaging the new seal .I contacted the Toyota dealership in my area Greensboro NC and
was told this part was discontinued. They gave me 2 cross reference # 90999-73120 and 73120.
I've contacted Nappa Orrelly's advance Auto to no avail . I've not seen any write up online on the 22re.
If the bushing is available, where can it be purchased? Thanks
.

are you actually feeling or hearing a vibration? is it a two-piece driveshaft?

if you are using factory toyota seals you might try switching to the better aftermarket seals from marlin crawler or possibly trailgear.

you could try calling marlin crawler for that bushing, if it comes down to that.

Google your transmission number with the words "tailshaft bushing". you should get a bunch of hits.
if you can grab the yoke and rock it up or down a discernable amount at the tailshaft the bushing could be worn.

it's a single drive shaft, I've changed a few many of the seals in the past few years, trying to figure out where the leak was coming from. I mention VIBRATION in the title because I have also been trying to chase a
vibration for years until I now connect the vibration to the oil leak = bad tail shaft bushing, just my thoughts.

OEM Toyota seals are quite good. If that seal at the rear of the extension housing has needed repeated replacement over the last few years I'd highly scrutinize the front of the driveshaft where it slides into the back of the housing for any lateral movement. It wasn't a common issue back in my day (but we did do every now and then), but after 35 years i think it's safe to say everything is in play at this point.
