HArd to get into gear
I have a 1988 Toyota 4runner sr5 3.0 5spd, I replaced the clutch about 5,000 miles ago. There was a weird shaking when releasing the clutch in first gear but it shifted fine. Now it is hard to Get into all gears but the pedal is still firm. I bled both the master and the slave and the pedal only had a better feel to it, could I have messed up the throwout? any advice will help. I'm in a hurry because it's getting cold in WI

Is the clutch pedal linkage adjusted properly? The steps are pretty simple and found in a Haynes or Chilton's. Also, do you know what type of gear oil's in the tranny and t-case? If too heavy weight, it'll be noticeably harder to shift during cold weather. What type of clutch did you install? A clutch meant for rock crawling can cause chatter on a stock rig.
