Grinding after new brakes.
1992 Extracab DLX, 22re, 5 speed.
After quite a bit of researching, I can't seem to find anything that seems to be similar to my situation.
So, I replaced the front rotors, calipers, and pads. Re-packed the inner and outer bearings. Right front hub would not spin with the old caliper on. Took it off and the hub spins freely. So bearings ruled out as culprit it seems. When I put the the new pads and caliper on with the caliper bolts barely tightened the hub spins freely. When I tighten the caliper bolts all the way down the hub becomes frozen and will not spin. It doesn't look like I have contact with the dust shield. Any ideas?

Can you bolt the caliper on without the pads in it or does it drag then as well?
not part of your issue, but the anti rattle spring is in wrong, must be wrapped around one of the pins or you'll lose it.
