Really like that antenna mount. Did it come from a CB store or online?

I am getting my CB hooked up on my 08 Taco and I am curious about the ant. mount you used. Is it mounted between the gate and rear quarter using hareware for the tailight housing?? I am wondering if I could do the same style? Let me know where you got it from if you could. Thanks.

Great looking install. Open up that gate and show us how that metal is mounted in there. I know I'd appreciate it. I would like to duplicate that mount on mine.

Thanks, Phil

If you want your cb to get good range, dont mount it there. Mount it on the hood or roof.

If you open the tailgate and look on how the rear tail lights bolts onto the body looks as if the original poster used that spot to mount that bracket.

I know you're right about that I am just not a huge fan of the magnet mount or of drilling holes in my panels. I am willing to sacrifice some range in this case. But, you are definately correct!!

You can just use a fender/hood mount, only have to drill 1 or 2 holes in the fender, its covered up by the hood.

Wow sorry guys! I could have offered some more technical support but I stopped watching this thread. The mount just screws into the inside body panel. Doesn't mount to any of the latch hardware. Send me a message if you would like pictures with the rear gate down.
