good bye 4Runner
Hydroplaned into a brand new over turned Tundra when I hit 6" of water on the road. Godamnmit, I've always thought 10.5"s were too wide and I was thinking of going to 235/85R16s. Too late now I guess. I'm looking at a BJ72 with a 13BT turbo diesel or an Dodge Ram with the Cummins motor or maybe another 4Runner. I just dont nkow at the moment. THey're gonna write this one off for sure.
Only pick I have at the moment. I got the email address of someone with a camera, but they only took one pic before the firemen chased them away.
WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS PEOPLE, CAUSE I WOULDN'T BE HERE WITHOUT IT.
here's the news article on the pileup:http://www2.canada.com/northshorenews/traffic/index.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fools'_Day

A friend of a friend is selling there Jeep Cherokee for cheap and I know the history (babied). Its got a solid front axle. That is a serious contender now as well.
97 Cherokee Sport, 4Litre, 2 door, 5spd, red w/ grey interior, goods great, well maintained, all receipts.

Don't get a cherokee. You'll regret it. My girlfriend wants one right now, I wanna smack her in the face!
The 4.0 is the only good thing about them. At the very least make sure its mated to a 5-speed, which it looked like that one was.
The 4.0 is a nice torquey motor, too bad they built everything else like crap.
Solid front axles are nice...but not Dana 35s...
Stay away. Your used to Toyota reliability, dont leave it.
Your gonna realize how often a normal vehicle breaks (especially a Heep) and kick yourself...
EDIT: I skimmed the thread. Can you tell?
Bastage!
