gas in oil
my 92 22re is making oil . it goes up about 1/4 to1/2 inch on dipstick in 500-700 miles. I switched out thefuel pressure regulator on the rail . didn't help. The truck runs great, has only 109000 miles on it. What else to do?

that's bad news. it's leaking from the cylinders past the rings. that will kill an engine pretty quick. so your sure it's gas in the oil and not water? does the oil smell like gas. take a little sample and try to light it with a match to see, of course far away from your vehicle.

Sounds like your engine is running very rich, and the fuel that doesn't get burnt is running down the cylinder walls into the crankcase. That is not good because as the gas runs down the walls it washes away the oil so your rings aren't getting lubricated and will wear quicker.

the condition needs to be adressed before it is a problem and you do end up using oil. figure out why you are flooding the cylinders. i wouldn't continue running the truck untill it's fixed.
