Backup/Reverse Lights take power from the 15A Engine Fuse
You mean backup lights? They take power from the engine fuse. I know. Toyota electrical engineers in those days were not that brilliant.
Engine Fuse Powers:
Combination Meter (dash gauges, not backlights)
Power Window Relay
PPS Computer
Neutral Safety Switch
O/D Off Indicator
Back-up/Reverse Lights
Alternator IG wire
Check Engine Light

Hey I'm trying to figure out where ad what the lettered lines lead back to or mean. Trying to follow the heater relay red and black wire that goes back to gauge cluster. And my diagram doesn't say anything about figuring that part out.
when I think switch or resistor went out it took out gauges
Any advice or info welcome thank u

Relay for power windows?
Hello all
I just purchased a 1989 Toyota 4Runner and am having some issues finding my power window circuit and wondering if there is a relay for the windows also. I did end up figuring out where the circuit it and there is power going through but not getting any power out to my switches on either door. Wondering if anyone can help me out On here

Fusible link wire
Heyya. I have a 1986 4x4 pickup 22r (carb). Can anyone give me specs on the fusible link wire (2.0L on the diagram) (or a recommendation on a slow blow circuit breaker replacement) hoping for gauge/ length or amp rating. Y’all rock

Think I found it
Did a fair bit more digging and I think this is what I was after. I’ll leave this here in the hope that someone else who needs it can find it more easily (although no garante I’m right about this)
