Holy thread revival..
If you can use the positive from the harness and ground it separately then you have a ground issue with the harness...there is a 4 wire connection that comes from the injectors and goes to one of the intake studs..is it grounded? If it is then you have another problem. How about engine grounds? If the electricity can't flow then nothing is going to work.

it is grounded at the intake, the ground wire comes from the ecu and branches out to each injector. ican jump my test light from injector wire back to the ground wire and get a bright light but when i plug my test light into the injector wire and turn the engine over it is dim, im thinking it a bad ground just dont know where to look

The break has to either be from the ECU to the injectors or the injectors to the ground. Just run a test wire from your injector long enough so you can hook your test light to it and check the connections at the ECU. There is a link in my signature for an FSM that has a schematic at the end of it if it helps.

thanks bassmastry101 yeah i tried going back to the ecu i had a good light there also im thinking the ecu now not grounding it good enough when i turn it over
