Front Spindle Bushing

1990 T4r SR5 auto 4X4:

Suspect the front hub brass spindle bushing may need to be replaced but rather than go with the original brass replacement I would be interested whether member's are familiar with an upgrade kit where a needle bearing and brass retainer is offered as an alternative and if so appreciate source and/or part number.

Comment/Suggestions appreciated!! dave

I can not thank you enough, exactly the information I need. I submitted the order this a.m. and the local Toyota parts department will have them by Friday.

Again, I thank you!!

He use to have some nice pictures that went along with it but it looks like those links are now dead. You can get by without a press or slide hammer. The grease that goes on the needle bearings is important. There use to be a nice toyota specific pdf on the needle bearing & grease application but that link is now dead. If I remember correctly is a thin white grease, need 2 tubes, one per side, expensive also lol.

I did mine a number of years back, no regrets.
