Front diff bearing

Anyone ever had a bearing go out in a front diff. Pretty sure the passenger side where the CV goes in is bad. Have a nice little noise come from that area. Drivers side is good. Fluid is clean and free of metal leading me to believe it is the bearing. I really don’t want to or have the money to have this rebuilt. Willing to give it a try or just try and find a 4.56 complete unit at a junk yard. I know a guy with a front diff but it’s a 4.10 and I’d have to rehear it anyways.
