Formal Introductions

I feel formal introductions are in order. I have been commuting 2500 miles a month with my civic. I'm relocating locally and will be selling the civic and using my truck for daily driving duties. I feel the cost of a monthly payment and insurance on a second car is silly in light of the fact I now work 6 miles from home. I bought my truck to move my toys and dog. I payed $1700 for it in barely running order. The thermostat was stuck open and the tires had 5psi in all 4. The truck got 8mpg. 30 minutes and another 15 with the air compressor and its a new truck. 230k on the 3sve and it runs stronger then my old 22re 4x4 rig ever did. The truck is otherwise clean, shiny paint, however decorate my driveway with oil spots though.

The plan now is to get the fan shroud back on, retrofit my AC with r134 or use freeze 12, and probably get some highway tires for my second set or rims.

I sold my 85 4x4 to get through school, and I'm so happy to be back inside or a toy truck. The dog thinks so too.

Sounds like a great plan! Keep driving and enjoying it. Also, its a 3zve or something like that. It doesn't have an s though...unless I am mistaken though
