Extending Rear Links on a 8" lifted 2nd Gen
Howdy y'all. I want to make sure I've got all my ducks in a row before I start buying, cutting and welding. I've got the 860 Land Cruiser springs that give me 5.5" of in the rear of my 90 4Runner. I originally posted 8" because it'd been a while since I installed them, but looking back it's just 5.5, but with the 2" body lift and 35's.. sure.. 8... This rig still goes on the highway to get to and from wheeling spots and as a family backup vehicle. So it needs to track straight and be stableish for now, but it is on its way to someday being a trailered trail rig only.
I'm planning to cut the stock upper and lower links to relocate the axle back to center and fix the pinion angle and gain some flex while I'm at it. I know I could just do the lowers to fix the angle, but I want to do them both because one of my uppers is bent. Was gonna order 2x12" lengths of 1.5" x .250 for the uppers, 2x12" 2" x .500 (maybe will go with .250 lowers depending on the ID of .500 and OD of stock lowers. I'll add that info later) for the lowers and either 2.5" 1.25" shank Johnny Joints or 7/8 Heims to replace the frame side bushings with. I have a panhard drop bracket already, but will also add an axle side riser to get the bar level. eBrake cables will also need extended. (T100 right?)
The next project down the road will be adding a Blazeland LT kit to the existing bracket lift in the front to keep things equal. Yes, I'm stubbornly not SASing it and keeping the rear coils for now. This project will cost about $300. I'm not planning to sleeve the whole stock arm to keep costs down. The D.O.M. tubing will be drilled and filled with weld in a couple spots for strength on the stock links.
Is it as simple as extending the lowers until my axle is where I want it, then extending the uppers until the pinion angles are matched?
Stock height on 31's
4" bracket and 4" pro-comp coils on 35's. Breaking 2 springs in 2 years prompted the upgrade
How it sits now. Slight crank on upgraded torsion bars

Might as well buy All Pros FJ links for $400 and just sleeve the uppers to match the pinion angle. That'd put me at about $500 with lowers, custom uppers, and the panhard bracket. Ideas?
That'd move my axle back about 5" and probably cause drive line length issues. I was thinking about 2-3 inches would be what I want.
