exhaust sound- Thorley Headers, Jardine Exhaust, Magnaflow Cat

My 2cents for a great sounding 3vze combo-
the 3.0L v6 4runner sounds great with the Thorley Header, Jardine Exhaust and Magnaflow Carsound High-flow Universal Cat.
if you are in Washington State, I HIGHLY recommend Randy's Custom Exhaust in Marysville. This guy makes his own headers!! He is friendly and his rates are awesome. I drove up there with headers and no muffler on...my old cat barely hanging on...and he was able to design and fit a lovely routing from the Thorleys through the magnaflow and down out the jardine muffler and exhaust.
He even fixed up a few loose ends on the header install. Now everything sounds great and he only charged me $98 for 2 1/2 hours of labor. If you're in WA or BC Canada it's totally worth the drive to Marysville. Also, the Tulalip factory outlet mall is there too so the wife/girlfriend can shop while you get your power!
Anyway, sounds great, not too loud when driving nicely but deep and juicy when you gun it. I can go up hills in 4th and dart in on the highway now, feels like a much more powerful vehicle.
I'm glad I did this and it was worth it. thanks to all of you for help and advice!

I just got my muffler on it for now (going to be doing an exhaust rebuild later this summer with new headers, pipes, and a muffler) because my tail kept falling off, but it actually is a little quieter, and sounds a lot better.

I wanna hear that. Did you run 2.5" piping or bump it back down?

What kinda sound do you want exactly?

For - normal acceleration? Rapid acceleration? Highway or around town cruising? Idling?
