Engnbldr oil pump?

I'm going to buy a timing kit with cover from engine builder tommorow. My question is should I use his oil pump and water pump along with gaskets? only reason I ask is because I seem to get mixed reviews on the forum.
I just got the truck and the owner didn't know much about the truck but thinks his father in law did do some kind of rebuild on it years ago. It shows 270,000 miles on the odometer.

I have used a few of Engine Builders oil pumps with no problems .

Just remember to prime the pump . I used something heavy that would stay on if the engine did not get started for some time.

I think I just used whatever brand water pumps I could get local

My thoughts are ... I try to use parts from the same vender so that all play together well.
