Does anyone know what this bracket is for? I've installed the whole engine, can't find where the hell it went. *facepalm*

That bracket is a reinforcing brace for the alternator or p/s pump.

Okay here's another question. When installing the timing chain cover is it recommended to use any type of sealant? I saw no mention of this in the shop manual so when I installed it I only used the paper gasket that came with the timing chain cover. However my timing chain cover is leaking coolant. How do I remedy this?

It's not a horrible fix, I gotta pull them off, goop it up, and put them back on. It's the working in 20* and 30* weather that's demotivating me.

Yea, doesn't look too bad. And yes when its that cold ambition is expensive.
