Engine coughs/cuts out very briefly on hwy incline
So Im going up a grade on the highway when my 3.0 "coughed" very briefly. The CEL kinda blinked real quick and then the engine caught right back up with itself and everything was back to normal. any thoughts? could this be due to a failing ignition coil? its the one thing i didnt do on my recent tune up. any input is greatly appreciated

I had the same problem at one time. I was doing about 70mph, and it felt like the rig just stopped and then came back on. Never did find out what it was tho. If you find out any more info on this, please post.

ya, I have a 95 4x4, but she runs very good. Not good on gass tho, really sucks.
About a year ago, I had the compleat top end done as I had a bad exhust valve, and she had a bad miss. In fixing that, I got a new timing chain, water pump, new head G's., all new hoses and rebuilt heads.. So I hope I get another 200K out of her.
The 3.0 isn't the best of motors, but if you take care of them, they will go a long way. And belive me, I do take care of her, she's is my baby.
