EGR clogged @ head
My EGR is clogged @ the head I know this is tough fix as it is pretty hard to reach the bolts, my question is until I can get to it is it going to increase crankcase pressure making leaks, I have checked the egr valve and its working. I have connected a 10k resistor to the egr temp. sensor so the light stays off. thanks I know there is a egr guru out there. ps anyone who has had succes taking off their entire egr system please chime in. Also since its clogged at the head is it the same in theory as a block off plate??? thanks ahead of time to you egr gurus....

What engine do you have?
LCEngineering makes a block plate for the 22RE but not the 3vze, I just emailed them last week.
On the 3vze the EGR draws from the exhaust manifold and inputs into the intake plenum. Perhaps you have the 22RE and it is configured differently, but your's is "clogged@ the head"?
