Anthony... I'd imagine we can all figure it out!! I'd hate for you to have to take it to a shop...

Yeah me too but I just want this dang thing fixed and ready to roll. So if that's what it comes down to than that's what I'll do.

Like I said, were I in town...meaning Fayetteville. I'm 20+miles south of you in Winslow, Anthony. But, I am in Fay. on the weekends. Also, I can talk you through whatever on the phone.

265....is that Crossover? I'm real familiar with Fayetteville. So, you live out towards Elkins?

I'm pretty busy during the day taking care of animals, but if you'd like and you're not in that big of a hurry, call me tomorrow at 8pm. I'm done with chores by then. 634-7441

Do you have a testing meter? You'll need to be able to test for voltage.

code 11 (85 or 87) usually means the ECU is not seeing IDL from the TPS sensor when it thinks it should so could be just the adjustment.
considering it's a transplant and there was mention of changing the TPS, I'd be tracing wiring.

Transplant yes, but everything was swapped as one unit, nothing unhooked, motor and wiring harness. Unplugged the ECU, pulled the harness through the firewall, pulled the motor, set it in the new truck ran wiring back through the firewall, plugged in computer, all done. Shouldnt have any wiring problems between the TPS and ECU.

You might want to verify the TPS signals are indeed getting back to the ECU:

May have damaged a wire or connector with the swap.

Checked all the wires and everything looks good but the description is right on "Hesitation while accelerating". It's gotten worse though I was able to drive it for a while and now it barely makes it down the road unless I just let it Idel in which case it runs great.

That's fine, but I'll be at work in Fayetteville. The number there is 582-9185. And, it's fine to call me at work....not a problem. But, if a customer comes in the store we'll have to play phone tag. Cool?

I was having a similar problem with my 87, I had a similar "hesitation while accelerating". Ended up being the O2 sensor. Had a Bosch sensor and replaced it with a Denso, fixed the problem.

Hey there. Hadn't seen you around here in a while. I see you and your truck every once in a while in Fayetteville. Always looks good, too!

FIXED

I pulled the fuel pump and looked at the filter and it was the worst looking thing I had ever seen (looked like clay all over the filter). New filter and I'm golden.
