Can any body help me find the backing plates for my 89 toyota truck. I could only find ones from a dealer special order and its over $400

One thing I could recommend is heading to Car-Part.com and searching for something random on your vehicle make/model/year (brake caliper, starter, washer reservoir, etc.) and giving the junkyard a call whom has it noted that they have parts for your truck. Some of those yards on there will be self-serve and really relaxed and some will be pulling the parts for you. Explain what you want and you may be able to source one locally. Also, if you ever get pickups at a "pull your own" kind of place then that's a great bet but I never see these vehicles there where I'm at.
