Dream come true !!!
Hey Guys !!!
One of my frustrations in life, was not to be able to afford a brand new 2nd Gen 4Runner (I was 20 and at the University...$$$). After a lot of effort, I was able to restore and offcourse do some nice mods on that lovely 1992 V6 4Runner with 170.000 kms I found in the north of Spain. This is not the first Yota I own; first had a 2.4D double cab solid axels Hi-Lux when I was student at the university in Argentina. When I graduated came to live to Barcelona Spain, and decided to buy a 2000 TD Xtra-Cab Hi-lux prepared by Delta 4x4 in Germany (piece of crap...). But I always wanted a 4Runner, even when I had the oder Yotas.
I visit this forum since last year at last 5 times a day, but I am not a very often poster .
I admire all your Rigs and the kind of work you do on them!!!! You have no idea the effort that was to me to restore my Rig here in Spain (Laws, prices, few material, etc...).
So this is for me a "Dream come true" but also a "Gift for my daughter". Let me explain myself... I July this summer we expect the born of our first daughter "Mia" and we plan to do a lot of camping - exploring trips with her. So I decided to prepare the coolest truck to pic her up from school !!!! Hahahahahahahaha.
There are a few mods pending like 4.88 gears and a Pro-Comp skid plate (Brian-TheWabbit, did you have nice vacations ??? Hope so buddy )
So I hope you enjoy the pictures and let me know your impressions, ok ?
March 2006:
June 2007:
First spanish 4Runner with 2007 Fj-Cruiser (unfortunately not sold in Spain... ) SunFusion yellow paint job. Doesn?t it deserve to be 4Runner of the month ?????????
Cheers
