doing a rebuild best way to increase power?
i was wondering what the best way to increase power is? im doing a rebuild and would like to increase it.

cam, head work, header . 22RE?

its a 22RE yes. sorry i had to leave fast so i forgot to specify. i was thinking bore it .40 over? and get a cam, maybe header? is there anything else?

you're gonna get yelled at for not searching .......add oversized valves to your list, like stated before, call up ted at engnbldr.com he will hook you up

Cam, bore, port and polish, O/S valves matched to said Cam...higher flow injectors..and fuel pump...crank the afm, advance timing...1 last thing 93 93 93. Nuff said....

if you end up doing any/ all of the mods I mentioned, premium fuel would probably be a good idea to keep detonation down. And AFM= Air Flow Meter, The thing on top of the airbox...

Port and polish is a good idea. Just go to the hardware store and pick up a bag of sandblasting sand, disconnect the intake where is comes outa the air box or where it goes into the throttle body and just shovel the sand in as you rev the motor. Works wonders man.

I read in import tuner magazine that a guy did this to his audi!! He was writing in to ask why he had no power and why his engine was knocking.
