i would replace the valve cover gaskets while u are in there

hahaha and the PCV valve and do the PCV mod. I did and it does give great peace of mind!

PCV Mod? I got a new valve, that was a no brainer when I saw it was passenger side of the engine. I thought it was hooked up close to the tbody. WRONG. Thats where it friggin should be!

Oh well, I'm at a stand still till, I get a new cylinder head.

I have cylinder heads off a 3.0 sitting out in the garage! A guy gave me an engine out of his truck after he flipped it. I have the block and heads.

It's just simply relocating the pcv valve to make future replacements much easier.

exactly, you drill out the old pcv valve then affix a hose to it's barb and run the hose out from under the plenum to the new PCV valve, then run your last hose from the new PCV back to the plenum.

I just had an epiphany!

...anything I should do while im in this far?
Drop in an LS2 mated up to a 4L60E with a shift kit and 3000 rpm stall! (one problem though would be the price...and detonated drive line peices...lol)

jk of course - such a swap would be around 12k$
