but i think it would be a waste. my friend has some fenders, they look nice, but i do hardcore wheeling where i beat my body up. he doesnt. and i wouldn't want to smash them all up and look like crap.

I hear ya, norcrawler.
It was half a joke... getting aerodynamics working for mileage on the street, and then remove the body work for off-road capabilities.
I mentioned 'nacelles' that would mount in front of the wheels, actually separate from the body....

if i did my boggers would rub hard when flexing. it still rubs a tiny bit in the rear when fully flexed. see:
