So, my cruise works but, I need this part.
it's the bellows inside the actuator... the rubber cracks.
anyone have one or have a good permanent fix... FIPG worked for about 100 miles and split again...

You would have to buy the entire actuator assembly which is NLA. I ran into the same issue but got lucky at a junkyard.

IF you can find that part I'll buy it....
The whole actuator is about $400
I may have to cough up the 400 , but really don't want to.

I've been looking for awhile. I've even tried Denso's and N.O.K. global sites hoping to find one sold just as a diaphragm. If you have success please post a new thread announcing it!

lol... I'll announce it to the whole world.
The Ultra Black silicone is working great so far, again. We'll see how long that last. The crack was just in the bottom lip though and a good place to smooth out some silicone once i buffed it out carefully with a wire wheel.

Mine was cracked at the other end where it gets clamped and sealed to the housing. The rubber all seemed very soft and healthy. I repaired mine with Ultra Black silicone also and it's been holding for over a year now. Once the RTV was cured I wiped the whole thing with silicone spray to hopefully keep the rubber soft.

Dielectric grease is what a lot of detail pros use to keep rubber soft and pliable

i would probably smear the black rtv over the entire diaphragm, relatively thickly, in an attempt to make it last. even better if you could apply it to both sides of the diaphragm (i don't know, because i've never had a cruise-control diaphragm apart).

Update:
cruise control Ultra Black is working,
Wife drove about 50 miles said its working great. We'll see how long it last this time.

I thought the whole actuator was still available through Toyota, but I just checked and it is now showing discontinued. At least for the 1987.
Most of the time the rubber components Toyota uses has the vendor name or symbol, and when really lucky, a part number molded in. But I don't recall anything on mine. but it was pretty flogged. If you see anything lmk.

Mine is Ultra black, I don't recall off hand if it got reinforced with blue shop towel.

When I was exploring options on getting a IACV (idle air control valve) since the OEM one had been discontinued, i went through a catalog and looked at ones being made for Honda and Nissan. I found a few that were VERY similar. Close enough where I think it could fit the 22re.
So using that thought, I found this on eBay. More research needed, but.......

Yeah, getting mine to seal was a bitch. I had taken a 1mm thick piece of butyl rubber and cut a circle, gluing it to the top of the diaphragm with contact cement. That fixed the cracking on the top, but I still had trouble getting it to seal along the bottom lip where the metal cover attaches to the plastic housing.
I'm lukewarm on finding a replacement option using a different manufacturer, but worth exploring.
