no, it's just a power source for led's. it makes dimming led's easy. there are cheaper alternatives, but you don't have to make this one.
and what you're thinking of is a variable load flasher. available from autolumination. they are used extensively on tow rigs, as the load on the flasher changes each time you hook up a trailer. this device doesn't care if you have a single led or a gazillion incandescent's, it'll flash at the same rate. also, it does away with those gawd-awful "load resistors"

heh thanks irab88, wanted to be sure. I knew something like that existed. Might come in useful if/when I change to all LED on the "new" flatbed.

thanks for the info.
dang those are expensive though. about 50 bucks for the whole dash. i was hoping to use the ones with the twist lock already on them, cause they are cheaper and less of a hassle. dont have to pop out bulbs and what not.
but i guess if the other ones dont fit....it is what it is.
