Could someone help me identify what goes in these slots?

The vent for the seat is just cut out. You can see the dimples in the ducting and that is where the screws go to attach the vent to the ducting. An easy upgrade.

Ahh ok, I swear I scrolled up and saw you had a 91 lol. I guess I'm looking at too many threads at once.

Anyway as Terry said, it'd be a pretty simple upgrade. The 86's have the vents screwed in and is behind the dash frame a bit, so cutting it out is probably a lot easier.
