right on! between #3 and #4 is where a lot of these let go for some reason. though the 22R doens't have the head gasket problem of the 3.0(as well as many, many other engines), being that it has an aluminum head and iron block, it doesn't like being overheated.

i had one go last year on my project truck, the #4 fire ring cracked right by the #3 and #4 cylinder. didn't leak a drop of coolant into the oil, but blew a lot of exhaust into the coolant and coolant was spraying out of the overflow tank.
